With your help and support, we’ve been proudly conserving and protecting rivers in the south east for 20 years, evolving and growing from the grassroots of the Wandle Trust to the expanded South East Rivers Trust that we are today.
From our beginnings in South London, we now look after 12 different catchments from the Loddon in the west, through Surrey and across Kent, to the Cuckmere & Pevensey Levels in the south.
From bringing brown trout back to the Upper Wandle, to flagship natural flood management interventions in the Medway; from the famous Wandle cleanups which started it all to some 50+ projects across evidence and research, restoration, education and engagement today.
We will be celebrating our 20th anniversary with various events and competitions throughout 2022. To kick things off, we launched our new website today!
Designed to showcase the best of our rivers and projects, along with improved functionality for event bookings, donations and finding out more about local rivers.
