Andrew has spent much of his working career as a carpenter in the construction industry. Driven by a desire to work in a more environmental field, he decided on a change of career.
Upon completing physical geography (BSc) and Environmental Assessment and Management (MSc) degrees, Andrew spent two years in an engineering consultancy, where he helped deliver fish passage and river restoration projects. He is now an Assistant Project Officer at SERT, working to improve habitats as part of the Restoring Rivers and Catchments team.
Andrew enjoys cycling, walking and spending time with his family.
